Victorian Environmental Assessment Council Act 2001 Council member profiles

Photo:  Members of the Council The role of the Council is to conduct investigations that are requested by the Victorian Government relating to the protection and ecologically sustainable management of the environment and natural resources of public land.

The Council is composed of five members including a Chairperson. The members are collectively required to have a range of experience, skills and knowledge in a number of areas related to management of public land and natural resources.

The current members are Mr Duncan Malcolm (Chairperson), Associate Professor David Mercer, Professor Barry Hart, Ms Jan Macpherson and Ms Jill McFarlane. Council's current three-year term began on 6 September 2005. View Council member profiles.
