This report contains the full text of the Land Conservation Council's final recommendations for the North-Eastern Victoria Ovens Softwood Plantation Zone Special Investigation.

None of these recommendations were approved by Government by Order in Council. The ongoing framework for use of public land in this area is provided by LCC's Northern Eastern Districts 3, 4 & 5 final recommendations.

The Ovens Softwood recommendations are grouped under major headings, such as Softwood Production, Forest Area and other public land. They are reproduced for information only.
